Hand-me-downs and Road Trips

Alexis is so lucky to have a cousin and Auntie who are willing to share their adorable outfits with us! I absolutely love dressing her in Clara's hand-me-downs! I think it is the cutest thing ever. We've been waiting patiently for this Sunday outfit to fit...and Lexi finally got to wear it last week.
She's getting so big...she's even starting to sit up on her own (with the help of the Bumbo).


It was only fitting we take a picture of Alexis in the outfit with her Auntie Alie, who was the original gifter.


Here she is sporting Clara's old swimming suit which we're planning on getting good use out of this spring!


Not only is Alexis the recipient of adorable hand-me-downs, but she is of course, totally spoiled by her Auntie Alie. This little Baby Burberry outfit is seriously TOO CUTE!

Have I mentioned how much I love dressing my little girl?!

This past weekend we headed out of town for our first road trip with the baby! It was a little nerve racking not knowing how she was going to do, but she was such a good sport the whole time we were away.

We spent the weekend in Palm Springs with friends. The guys competed in a Sprint Triathlon on Saturday morning, we spent lots of time by the pool, and even fit in a little outlet shopping. By Saturday night we were so beat that we ordered room service and were in bed before 9:00! Traveling with a baby is exhausting!!


We had such a great time away. Kirby and Erica...lets for sure plan another mini-vacay, SOON!

Alexis and I are heading to Florida this Saturday. I am so excited Lexi will get to meet my brother and his family for the first time! They are nice enough to let us tag along on their family vacation to Disney World. We're so excited to see everyone (Grandma and Grandpa too!)...but feeling super nervous about our first flight w/o Ben. Cross your fingers for us!
